DESCRIPTION
The semi automatic
vacuum series are general-purpose machines, which utilizes sheet, or
roll fed thermoplastic material. The standard series features an up-moving
platen and retraction heater, cooling blower(s) and is available with
a number of options including: Automatic clamp frame top plug assist.
The SAVF series is designed for low to medium production runs.
OPERATION
Plastic sheet is placed in the clamp
frame and the clamp frame is locked, the cycle start button is depressed
(to initiate the automatic timer controlled cycle) the heater moves
out over the plastic and is timed to prepare the sheet for forming,
the heater then moves back to the insulated staging area and the platen
(with form tool mounted to it) moves up into the sheet, optional plug
assist if needed, is used, the part is then formed, allowed to cool,
the platens retract the finished formed part may then be removed, and
the process repeated.
