FEATURES
AND DESCRIPTION
The Models 2MS-1822, 2MS-2430 and 2MS-2436 are heavy-duty construction
shuttle type sealers with automatic cycle and are designed specifically
for precision and speciality sealing applications. The standard 18"
x 22", 24" x 30", and 24" x 36" seal area sizes are ideal
for extra large blister packs. Roller shuttle trays are featured on
both sides of the machine which allow the seal tools (maple die board,
phenolic or aluminum) to be simply placed over locating pins on trays,
providing lower cost, quick change tooling capability. Typical applications
includes: Blisters/trays with tyvek lidstock for the medical industry
(i.e. surgical kits, dental devices, catheters, scalpels, tubing implants,
etc.) as well as foil pill packs, speciality films, conventional carded
blisters and custom sealing applications.
OPERATION
The operator(s) loads the blister(s) product and card(s) into the seal
tool, which is then slid into the machine, operator depresses the cycle
START button to initiate the timer controlled automatic cycle, the tool
is then pulled back. While one (1) operator is unloading and reloading
for the next cycle, the second operator (when ready) can slide tool
into the machine and depresses the cycle START button to cycle machine.
The process is repeated after each cycle is completed.
